New rail link Una to Hamirpur survey complete: Lt. Anurag Thakur

The survey of the 50.250 km rail line between Una and Hamirpur has been completed in a record time of two years. The line will have four crossing stations, one junction in Una and one terminal in Hamirpur.

The total project cost will be about 3,000 crore and investment will be scheduled for five years. This was stated by Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur, who recently met Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to discuss the project. He asked for funds saying the rail link would take load off roads.
